'Nellie' - AEC Matador

'Nellie' is an AEC Matador who started out in life as an artillery tractor built by the Associated Equipment Company for British and Commonwealth forces during the Second World War.

After the war Nellie was used for forestry work because of her good off-road performance!

Getting Nellie in the workshop to remove the cab. This will be an on going project.

Good Old British Engineering! That was by far the most awkward and frustrating job I have done in a long while. There's a love hate relationship forming here!

 Now its time to put the chassis back out of the way and focus on sorting the cab out. It will take a lot of time and finesse due to it being made from beech and aluminium.
